Obesity Medicine

Doctors have spent years treating patients for the typical combination of diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. At the end of a visit, we’d touch on the elephant in the room—obesity. But, for most patients, this is a chronic problem that deserves its own attention. For too long, the treatment of obesity has been an afterthought because it’s difficult for patients and physicians to discuss, and until recently, there haven’t been many great medications to help combat the physiological changes that make losing weight an uphill battle. Our goal is to give patients a comfortable place to discuss weight loss and the medications that will help them realize success.

Obesity treatment is included for all interested Freedom Medical MD patients. For patients who follow with another physician but would like to consult regarding obesity treatment specifically, we can help!
